In consideration of your allowing us to remove the above mentioned loaded full container/s to our premises, we the undersigned hereby undertake and guarantee you the following:
- We shall at our cost and risk remove the above container/s from nominated site to our premises situated at ……………………………………………. Within 7 days and return the same to your storage within one month from the date of its removal.
- We shall at our cost arrange to survey the container/s by your surveyors before removal from nominated site and after returning at your storage yard.
- In case of any damages to the container/s whilst in our custody we shall pay the repair cost of damages as estimated by your storage yard.
- We shall pay you the container/s detention and other charges as and when demanded by you.
- In case we fail to return the containers within one month from the date of removal, we shall obtain necessary permission from you and customs authorities to retain the container/s with us beyond 30 days.
- In case the container/s lost whilst in our custody, we shall pay you the cost of the container/s and the customs duty applicable to the container/s.
- We shall produce the triplicate copy of Bill of Entry duly endorsed by customs within 7 days from the date of returning the container/s alongwith survey reports.
- We shall keep you and the carriers completely indemnified and harmless from and against all consequences which may arise from you complying with our request.
- The bond will remain in force till such time we comply with our above undertakings and fulfill your/customs authorities requirements.
Note: (1) Consignee’s signature should be attested by Bank.
